Crown Royal Releases Special Edition ‘Texas Mesquite’ Flavor Whiskey

Crown Royal Whiskey has released a new, limited edition flavor 'Texas Mesquite' for folks looking for a smoky whiskey this Summer. According to Crown Royal's website:

Crown Royal Texas Mesquite is a blend of Crown Royal Deluxe infused with the smoky soul of locally sourced Texas mesquite wood. The result is a unique flavor that is smoky and spicy with the distinctive smoothness of Crown Royal.

In addition to a unique bottle design, Texas Mesquite also has two different bags for collectors. Inside Texas, the bottles come in a bag with a lone star- outside of Texas gets a red, white and blue bag.

I haven't had a chance to sample it yet, but an online review says, "It’s sweeter than regular Crown and the smoke is pretty pronounced"
