My favorite thing about any con is people watching. I absolutely adore seeing how creative folks get with their cosplays. It's an art form for sure. Wig styling, sewing, mask making, armor sculpting, makeup, and many more skills go into the perfect cosplay.

If you think you've got what it takes to win (or you just want to walk the stage in your cool cosplay), Anime WTX's cosplay contest is for you.

Prizes include awesome stuff from Sentai Filmworks and Arda Wigs. You can sign up here, but if you're hoping to win, you should probably review the rules. The biggest one to be aware of: You must have personally made 50 percent or more of your cosplay.

Anime WTX happens Friday, Jan. 31st - February 2nd, 2020 at the MCM Elegante Inn & Suites, 801 Avenue Q, Lubbock, Texas 79401.

Here are their rules.
