Anime WTX Returns to Lubbock in January 2020

Anime WTX was an absolute blast this year. The vibe was so friendly, the vendors had great merch (I picked up several stuffed animals), the celebrity guest were engaging and friendly, and the cosplay was amazing.

In 2020, Anime WTX has moved to a larger venue and will feature even more specialty programming.

AWTX returns as the ONLY hotel anime convention in West Texas at Hotel Ava in Lubbock!

Come enjoy all the fun of a hotel convention where you can meet celebrity guests from the anime industry, shop anime, manga, and Japanese culture vendors, buy fandom prints and art in our beautiful artist alley, have tea with Japanese maids at a Maid Cafe, compete in video game tournaments, see amazing cosplayers, and try to get out of the Yandere Escape Room!
