If you're like me, you want to adopt every stray you find.

It's a bummer that we dog lovers can't own all the dogs. We constantly see pictures of dogs on social media and have to quickly turn away because we're "full up" with dogs. I thought, what the heck, let's just put together a gallery of dogs that are already in thier forever homes and living the best lives.

At the beginning of the pandemic, I knew my friends were going to go stir-crazy, so I came up with multiple sites, including "Uncomfortable Close-Ups of Pets." That group sits at over 3,000 members who post the odd pet picture or two. The site is split pretty evening between dogs and cats, but there are also birds, goats, and a few other furry and scaly friends.

I know the site has brightened days for a lot of people and given pet owners a great place to express their love for their pets. For whatever reason, I selected pictures of pups that had their names listed. I'm not sure why I did that, but maybe my subconscious told me that you'd want to know them better.

Now if you can adopt another animal, below these 25 pups is a list of 25 Lubbock-based pitties that are looking for homes. I hope you smile getting to know these awesome dogs.
