Women's Protective Services is needing children's Halloween Costumes. You can call them with your costume donation at (806) 747-6491

They are needing sizes for infants to 17 years of age.  When women flee from a domestic violence situation, many times it's at night, in a hurry and with no time to take belongings.  W.P.S. wants to provide an environment that is as close to  "healthy" and home-like as possible.  So, at this time of year, they want to make sure the kids at the shelters, have a fun Halloween. As Steven Garcia with W.P.S. said, "We want the kids to not be deprived of that experience. We want them to feel, since this is their home right now, we want them to feel as comfortable as they can."
