The UMC Opens New Express Care Clinic at the South Plains Mall [PICS]

University Medical Center opened a Physician Network Services Express Care Clinic on Friday at the South Plains Mall. The Express Care Clinic is located inside the mall beside Premiere Cinemas and the Women’s Dillard’s location and has a private entrance. Patients have the option of going in through the mall or walking straight into the doctor’s office from their North side of the mall entrance. The facility has three exam rooms, one nurse station and a lobby. It is one of eight walk-in clinics in Lubbock. If you break your leg of chop off a finger this may not be the location that you are in need of since the Mall location has NO X-ray equipment but all other ailments are welcome.

The facility is really impressive from the elaborate design that went into the floors to the beautiful pictures of all the local kiddos and families that adorn the wall. Only open since Friday the clinic was seeing patients and patients were waiting on Sunday as the clinic is open and in full swing. The UMC continues to take care of us here in west Texas and with this newest addition to the Physicians Network, UMC is making it easier and more convenient for Lubbock to get the healthcare that need. ■ Monday through Saturday:
9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

■ Sunday: noon to 6 p.m.

■ Location: Inside South Plains Mall, 6002 Slide Road, between Premiere Cinemas and the Women’s Dillard’s with a private entrance on the north side of the building.
