He is back for the 47th year: PANCHO CLOS.

Now most of you probably didn't know that he is Santa's cousin, and he knows what's going on with your kids and if they have been naughty or nice.

We are so glad that Pancho Clos will be making an appearance in West Texas. He is such a warm and welcome site for all. He will be making an appearance Sunday, December 16th at the Maggie Trejo Super-center, located at 3200 Amherst, right across the street from Joel's Mexican Restaurant.

Pancho Clos will arrive at 2 p.m. with bags of fruit and candy for all the good boys and girls who come out to see him.

From El Editor:

The “Pancho Clos” project is sponsored by the Fiestas Del Llano and co-sponsored by the Community Foundation of West Texas. This project originated here in Lubbock in 1971 by three members of the American GI forum, the late Bidal Aguero, the late Gus Medina and the late Jesse Reyes all from Lubbock. The project has been a big success and now have over  100 volunteers from the Lubbock Hispanic Police Association, La Familia Los Carnales Bikers Club, Girl Scouts Troop #6073, City of Lubbock, EL EDITOR newspapers, United Supermarkets and many more community donors.

So get out there and see this Lubbock favorite for the last 47 years!
