Lubbock Last-Minute Plans: Quailpalooza, LBK Uncorked, & More

For many of us, the weekend is a time to rest, recover, and enjoy time with friends and family. If you are on the hunt for something to do in Lubbock, but aren’t sure where to start, that is what these last-minute plans are for.

Quailpalooza

This is a great event for the family and is hosted at the Ranching Heritage Center. It is on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and is meant for kids ages 5 to 12. Kids will have the chance to see live bobwhite quail and learn more about them and their habitat.

It is a hands-on science experience focused on the quail’s declining population and is presented by Texas Tech Quail.

Lubbock Uncorked

An event for adults is also happening this Saturday from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the American Windmill Museum.

Lubbock Uncorked will feature a wine 101 class and a pairing class. You will also be able to try wine from across the Lone Star State and generally learn more about the industry. You can also enjoy food trucks, small business vendors, and live music.
