This Saturday (4/21/2018) the Lubbock Arboretum (4111 University) is hosting their annual Spring Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 2. It's an excellent opportunity to buy plants that grow well in our West Texas climate.

Last year I picked up several beautiful succulent plants and a gorgeous agave bush. It's nice to know I'm supporting local gardeners and buying plants that will work with, not against, our particular ecosystem.

The sale always also includes a variety of herbs, vegetables and of course a wide variety of lovely flowers. And the prices are a bargain.

For more information, or to let them know you're coming, head over to their Facebook Event Page.
