Libraries Are Cool

I love the Library. The whole concept restores my faith in mankind.

First of all, it’s free and they actually let you take things with the agreement that you will return them in a timely fashion. Where else does that happen?

Imagine being able to “borrow” things that we need in life, with the simple agreement that we will return them in the same fashion they were given?

Imagine going to a car dealership, slipping them your “car” card, and driving off for a month and then returning it?

How about borrowing a christmas tree from the city and then returning it so they can sell it for firewood? (could be a win win).

Or how about borrowing clothes from a store, lol, now I am making myself laugh, because of course this will never happen.

Reading is an incredible gift we give to ourselves and to our kids, every time I finish a good book, I feel like I’m saying "Good-bye" to a friend. Reading a good book is a great way to explore the world without having to leave Lubbock.
