I swear that Scientist's have the best jobs ever. Just hanging around the lab, burning up millions in grant money to do what? Apparently to build the biggest and most complicated machine that's soul purpose is to blows up balloons.

If you don't know what a Rube Goldberg machine is, OK GO built a huge one when they shot the music video for "This Too Shall Pass". It seemed like the biggest Rube Goldberg machine ever, but it only looked like the video was done in one take. They actually cheated, and someone found a couple of hidden cuts in it.

An engineering team at Purdue just built the most complex Rube Goldberg machine that's real!. The video is just over two minutes long, and the machine's only purpose is to blow up a balloon then pop it.

Congratulations guys. You spent the entire budget on that piece of crap. Guess Cancer is on hold for a while as a priority.
