Last June a 28-year-old Target employee in New Jersey tried to pull a worker's comp scam that would set her up for life. She "accidentally" triggered a storeroom shelf to drop a bunch of boxes on her, that should have hurt her head, neck, and back. But she forgot about the security cameras in the storeroom.

Intentionally injuring yourself on the job to get worker's comp is a pretty nasty thing to do. If you're going to put yourself through that at least do it right and don't get caught!

Last June, 28-year-old Victoria Colon of Union City, New Jersey decided she was going to pull a scam that would put her on easy street for a while.

Victoria worked at Target, and rigged a shelf in a storeroom to drop a bunch of boxes on her. Afterwards, she also pulled a shopping cart full of more stuff on top of her, and repeatedly hit herself in the head with some batteries.

Then she did what all normal people do, she got up, ate some Goldfish crackers, made herself puke near the fake accident. Then to help complete the scene, she climbs back under the boxes, and called for help.

She hurt her head, neck, and back in the process. But she forgot one thing. Target has security cameras in the storeroom which captured her entire stunt. Unfortunately the footage is evidence, so it hasn't been released.

On Tuesday, she was indicted for fraud. She could get up to 10 years in prison if she's convicted there's no word on whether any of the injuries are still bothering her.

Ever wonder why insurance and medical bills continue to rocket? People like this!
