Witnesses Stop Man from Luring Someone Into His Car at Lubbock Grocery Store
Reports say that an unknown suspect attempted to lure a victim into their vehicle outside of a Lubbock grocery store on Thursday, September 30th.
KAMC News reports that Lubbock police officers responded to the Amigos at 112 North University Avenue a bit before 6:30 p.m. On arrival, officers were told that a suspect was attempting to lure a victim into his vehicle.
Multiple witnesses at the scene intervened, however, causing the suspect to flee in a white 4-door pickup truck northbound on University.
The only description of the suspect was that he was a white or Hispanic male in his late 20s or early 30s. At the time, he was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. No further details were available.
Information concerning the victim, such as whether or not they were a child, was also not provided.
