Why is Taylor Swift’s Band Dressed Up Like Furries? VIDEO]

Can anybody explain to me why in her new video, Taylor Swift's band is all dressed up like a furry convention? Did country go kinky? I'm thinking no.

So this is the premiere of Taylor's video for "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together". I really like the song but I'm confused by the video. And yes I watched it all the way through thinking there might be some explanation at the end. There isn't. Just the band wearing bear, and squirrel, and other furry woodland creature costumes. Weird. But still a great song!
