Who Let the Dogs Out!?! K-9 Splash Fest is on for Sunday August 14th [PICS]

Who let the Dogs out!?! Clapp Pool will again be hosting the K-9 SplashFest on Sunday, August 14, 2011 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. sponsored by Parks and Recreation. This popular event allows people and their dogs to swim together in Clapp Pool and is co-sponsored this year by Alderson Subaru.

Dogs can compete in three different contests: Swim Suit Competition, Diving and Retrieving contests. Prizes will be awarded in each event. Door prizes and concessions will be available.

Dogs must be up-to-date on their rabies vaccination and have with them a 2011 rabies tag or certificate from a veterinarian. Aggressive dogs or dogs in heat are not allowed.

Clapp Pool is located inside K. N. Clapp Park at 46th Street and Avenue U. Admission fees for participants are $2.50 for adults and $2 for youth 17 or younger. Dogs get in free!
