Authorities in Lubbock made an arrest in connection to gang activity as well as the confiscation of 16 pounds of marijuana.

On February 14th, a felony arrest warrant was issued for 50-year-old Collie Willard III. He was taken into custody in the 1700 block of 44th Street for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Shortly after, a search warrant was filed for the residence and that’s when 16 pounds of marijuana were found. No drug charges have been filed against Willard.

Willard remains booked in the Lubbock County Detention Center. As of this time, no bond amount has been listed.

The Lubbock Texas Anti-Gang Center spearheaded the operation with assistance from the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, the Lubbock Police Department, and the Lubbock Fire Marshal's Office.
