United Supermarkets will be opening another of their popular Market Street locations at the intersection of 19th & Quaker. There's been a ton of construction there since the Marsha Sharp Freeway went in, and United is taking advantage of the newly opened spaces. Located on the south west corner, where there was once a 7-11, the new Market Street should open shortly before Thanksgiving this year. It will also include a Market Street Express as many of the newer stores do. Plus it's a perfect location for many of the college students living within a few miles of there. The new store, according to the press release, will employ approximately 400 people and will also include "a million-dollar investment in its health-and-wellness product line, and a visible effort to be an environmentally friendly corporate citizen."
