July 4th has come and gone again for another year. So if you have any leftover fireworks, I don't know why you would but it happens, I have some ideas of what you can do with them. Other than save them for New Year's of course.

1. Earrings. Yes, earrings. If you have some leftover small bottle rockets, you can stick a hook through them and wear them as earrings. Then at any party, light them, and watch as people ooh and ahh at your amazing outfit. Or maybe they're ooh-ing at your hair blazing on fire. Either way, they'll remember what you wore more than anybody else.

2. Pet Toys. We all know how much dogs and cats love to chase lasers right? How much do you think they'll love chasing a flaming ball of death? I'm thinking a bunch!

3. Home Security. Strategically place some fireworks outside your front and back doors. Then rig them so that anybody who gets too close, they light and start shooting sparks at them to scare them off. One problem is that fireworks can't discern from friend and foe, so you might light your mother-in-law up too. Also it is a one time thing. So, maybe not...

4. A Warm Fire For Winter. We all know that west Texas winters aren't that cold. But every now and then we get a real cold snap, and a fire would be kinda cozy. Load your fireplace with the leftovers and I guarantee that fire will warm your house super-super fast.

5. Party Weekend. That's right. You can just save them for a weekend you know will be fun, and blow them up then.

Try these, or don't. Probably don't. they're not very safe.
