With cooler tepetures on the way this may be a great weekend to beat the cold by hitting the cineplexes for a couple of really great movies witting this weekend. Tim Burton is back with his weird and delicious brand in "Frankemweenie" and Liam Neeson revives his role as ex-government badass in "Taken 2" Honestly they both look so good I might do both!

"Frankenweenie" (PG)

Tim Burton's new Disney movie is a black and white, 3-D stop-motion animated movie about a boy who uses science to resurrect his dead dog Sparky kind of like the original "Frankenstein".

It has the voices of Winona Ryder, Martin Landau, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara and watch out for an appearance by the legendary Christopher Lee as Dracula.

"Taken 2" (R)

Liam Neeson is a retired CIA agent fighting to rescue his family from kidnappers. Again. This time it's his wife who's taken because the kidnappers want revenge for all the guys he killed while rescuing his daughter in the first movie.

Maggie Grace from "Lost" plays his daughter, and Famke Janssen from the "X-Men" movies plays her kidnapped mother.

"Pitch Perfect" (PG-13)

Anna Kendrick revamps a college a capella group so they can compete against their male rivals. It also stars Brittany Snow and the succulent Rebel Wilson.
