Here are a few trailers from some of this weekend's movie releases. Do you plan on seeing anything?

Thor looks to be this summer's first big budget blockbuster:

Something Borrowed looks like a good date flick:

Jumping The Broom looks like, aww who am I kidding? I don't know a thing about this movie except what they told me:
A comedy about two black families about to be joined by marriage. The bride's family is ultra-rich and wants the ceremony to be held in Martha's Vineyard. The groom's family is working class, and you can guess how that goes over with them. Paula Patton is the bride, Angela Bassett plays her mom, and the rest of the bride's family includes Romeo and the lovely Meaghan Good. "Modern Family's" Julie Bowen has an amusing role as their very white wedding planner.

The Beaver is Mel Gibson's last movie that he made with Jodie Foster before he smacked his girlfriend around and got his butt in a bunch of trouble. I don't know if I'd see this just because of that but here's the trailer:

In what could be the most interestingly titled pick of the week we have Hobo With A Shotgun. Kinda violent and based on a trailer from Grindhouse:

The indie pick this week is called Daydream Nation and while it will only be in a few theaters it will be on dvd by May 17th so not long to wait:

And finally in the ambitious pick of the week comes a Spanish horror flick shot in one continuous take. Yes a 78 minute 1 take horror movie, all in spanish and its called The Silent House:

Now go see something good this weekend!
