The Plaza is a Tex-Mex chain that started in Borger in 2001. They eventually opened a few more locations including the Lubbock location in 2014. Since then, Lubbock has loved its food and it has become a Hub City staple.

With their large menu with a wide variety of meals, The Plaza has something for everyone, and now they have expanded that menu even further. The Plaza is now offering a special brunch menu that is available for the weekend. On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. you can try one of the six new items on their brunch menu.

There isn’t any information about this new menu on their website, but you can find them if you visit in person. The menu includes chilaquiles, brisket scramble, stacked enchiladas, steak and eggs, churro waffles, and huevos rancheros. They all look delicious and pretty affordable with prices ranging from $9.99 for the churro waffles to $15.99 for the steak and eggs.

I love it when restaurants add brunch specials to their menu because it adds some variety for customers wanting to eat breakfast somewhere that traditionally serves only lunch and dinner. I also like that they have a variety of options from traditional Mexican breakfast foods to more custom options like the waffles.

I reached out to The Plaza about the new menu to see when they added it and if they have any more information they would like to include. I will update this post once I hear back from them.
