“The Darkness 2″ and a Fantasy RPG from Kurt Schilling Are This Week’s New Games [VIDEO]

"The Darkness 2" (M) on Xbox360, PS3 and PC. Jackie Estacado is back two years after the events of the first "Darkness" game. In this one, there's a guy trying to kill off Jackie so he can wield the power of the Darkness himself. If you didn't play the first game, he's got this demon inside him that keeps him from being killed and gives him other special abilities whenever he enters the shadows. It's a fairly bloody shooter, with loads of foul language.

"Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning" (M) on Xbox360, PS3 and PC. An epic fantasy RPG from a studio founded by baseball legend Kurt Schilling.
The story was written by popular fantasy writer R.A. Salvatore, and "Spawn" creator Todd McFarlane did the artwork. The combat may even be the best ever in an action RPG.

"Gotham City Imposters" (T) downloadable on Xbox360 and PS3. In this 6 vs 6 shooter you play on teams that dress up like Batman or the Joker. In addition to normal weapons like guns and knives, you can use other gadgets like grappling hooks, glider wings, rollerskates, and explosives.

"Shank 2" . . . downloadable for the Xbox360 and PS3. Even though it's a 2D side-scrolling game, the animated cutscenes are still pretty violent. It also includes a co-op survival mode that lets you defend an area with a teammate as you battle waves of enemies.
