“The Avengers” Top One-Billion Dollars!
"The Avengers" continues to break every record out there. crew was able to rake in anoer 103 million making it the first movie to do so on it;s first and second weekend.
The previous record holder was "Avatar", which raked in a measiley $75.6 million in its second weekend back in 2009.
"The Avengers" has officially made $373 million in North America alone since last weekend. But it opened internationally a week and a half before that. The overseas numbers are staggering. How about $629 Million in just 3 and one half weeks.
The final world wide numbers should be released later today and "The Avengers" should officially break the $1 billion mark after just 19 days in theaters. Do the math and that is $52,631,578.95 a day. yeah I'm starting to think Robert Downey Jr was worth the 13 million.
