Thanksgiving’s Around the Corner, Remember Some Foods Are Toxic for Pets
With the holidays approaching fast, time to remember what Fido or Fluffy can and can't eat.
Certain food containing onions are always a bad idea for dogs and cats. Chocolate, raisins, grapes and anything containing Xylitol is deadly for animals in any dose. Coconuts and citrus are bad for their stomachs and can cause slow down of the central nervous system.
Any meat with bones is also a bad idea since the bones can splinter and get stuck in your fur babies throat.
Best bet is to tell your guests NOT to feed your pets. If they want to feed them a treat, use what you already have.
You can see a complete no-no list at the ASPCA's Site. Keep those furbabies safe!
