Texas Tech’s Josh Jung Makes His USA Collegiate National Team Debut
Josh Jung made his USA Collegiate National Team debut Tuesday (June 26), going 2-for-4 with a run in the loss to the Under 18 US team. It was a friendly matchup before the real games start Wednesday.
The USCNT will play the Coastal Plain League Select team today before beginning a four-game international friendship series with the Chinese Taipei squad in Cary, North Carolina.
Jung joined three other Big 12 players on the CNT. Baylor pitcher Cody Bradford, Baylor catcher Shea Langeliers, and Kansas pitcher Ryan Zeferjahn all are representing the Red White and Blue this Summer.
Graeme Stinson is another notable name you might know. Stinson started game two for Duke in the Super Regional after spending his season in the bullpen.
