Texas Tech Selection Sunday Watch Party at 4ORE! Golf

Less than 24 hours after playing in the Big 12 Conference Tournament Championship Game, Texas Tech Red Raider Basketball will find out where they will play in the NCAA Tournament.

Last night, Kansas beat Texas Tech 74-65 to win the 2022 Big 12 Conference Tournament and earn the conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

Today (March 13), at 4:30pm, Red Raider Basketball will participate in a watch party for NCAA Selection Sunday at 4ORE! Golf, located at 6909 Marsha Sharp Freeway. No word on what players and/or coaches may be attending the watch party. Selection Sunday will be broadcast on CBS from 5pm-6pm (KLBK-TV, locally).

Many online predictions have Texas Tech playing as a #3 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Some of those predictions (as of Sunday morning before 9am) include: HoopsHD predicts Texas Tech will be a #3 seed in the South Region, CBS Sports' Jerry Palm predicts Texas Tech will be a #3 seed in the West Region, Sporting News' bracket team predicts a #3 seed for Texas Tech, and ESPN's Joe Lunardi also predicts that Texas Tech will be a #3 seed in the West Region. If Texas Tech does earn a #3 seed, their first-round opponent would be a #14th seeded team.
