Texas Tech’s 2019 Football Schedule Looks Insane

Texas Tech Football has released its 2019 schedule, and it's packed with must-see Big 12 conference showdowns in Lubbock.

Texas Tech will open the 2019 football season against the Montana State Bobcats, who the Red Raiders haven't played against since 1939, on Saturday, August 31st. It will be just the third time in history the two teams have squared off.

The Red Raiders will face four Big 12 opponents at home: Oklahoma State, Iowa State, TCU and Kansas State. Which means they've got a tough road schedule in 2019, with Oklahoma, Baylor, Kansas, West Virginia and Texas. Texas Tech will have back-to-back games against TCU and Kansas State to close out their at-home slate.

But arguably the biggest news from the 2019 schedule is that Texas Tech is now back to home-and-home with Baylor. For the last 10 years, they've played the Bears in Arlington.
