Texas Tech Baseball is headed to their sixth straight NCAA Tournament, but it'll be their first in that stretch to not begin the road to Omaha in Lubbock, Texas.

Instead, the Red Raiders are headed to Statesboro, Georgia to play Notre Dame in game one of a regional before potentially playing either Georgia State or the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

Georgia Southern earned the 1-seed with a strong strength of schedule and RPI. Notre Dame was in the mix as a host, but instead will be the 2-seed, while Texas Tech joins the regional as the 3-seed. UNCG is the 4-seed in the regional.

The Big 12 did have several hosts starting with the Texas Longhorns who will be the 9th overall seed, hosting Louisiana Tech, Dallas Baptist and Air Force.

Oklahoma State is the highest seed from the Big 12 as the 7th overall ranked host and will be joined by Arkansas, Grand Canyon and Missouri State.

The reigning Big 12 Champion TCU Horned Frogs will not be hosting anyone. Instead, they're heading to College Station. Joining the Aggies and TCU will be the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns and Oral Roberts.

The fifth and final Big 12 school in the field is Oklahoma, which is also a 2-seed and heading to the Gainsville Regional hosted by the Florida Gators. The Sooners will be joined in Florida by Liberty and Central Michigan.

With five participants in the NCAA Tournament and only nine teams in the conference, more than half of the Big 12 has a shot at a National Tournament. West Virginia is probably the only snub, but it's not a surprise that the Mountaineers aren't involved.
