
Texas DPS Seize Over 100 Pounds of Marijuana in Oldham County
On Monday (April 9), Texas DPS seized 107 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop in Oldham County.
Just after 10 a.m. Monday morning, a DPS Trooper stopped a sedan traveling east on I-40 near Vega, for a traffic violation. During the stop, the trooper found multiple bundles of marijuana in duffel bags inside the trunk and in the back seat.
The driver, 40 year-old Kristen Chandler, was arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana and booked into the Oldham County Jail.
The drugs were allegedly being transports from California to Arkansas.
