The Ride for Change

The Ride for Change hits the road again, this year raising money for various local veterans organizations across Texas and Oklahoma.

We're raising funds, and collecting instruments, for low-income students that want to participate in their school band.

The application for 2020's The Ride for Change minority scholarship is now available for all graduating minority senior high school students in the Lubbock area.

Thank you to all four of this year's sponsors for everything they've done to make the first (of hopefully many) Ride for Change in Lubbock.

The Ride for Change officially kicked off in Lubbock and to say I'm incredibly appreciative of the warm welcome, and incredible support, would be an understatement.

While everyone else is out there fighting, we're doing something, and our ringleader is coming to town on Monday.

Many of you have asked about riding various legs, of the ride, with me and I wanted to let you know, you're welcome to do so.

My favorite burger place in the whole dang world is steppin' up for the Ride For Change.

Even though the ride doesn't start until September 14th, the donations have already started rolling in and we'd appreciate it if you considered donating as well.

Besides the obvious, here are my reasons for creating minority scholarships on this year's ride.

In September, I'll be riding my motorcycle across Texas (and a small part of Oklahoma) in an effort to raise awareness and funds for minority scholarships we're setting up in each market.
