After a 1st half that ended in a 10 to 10 between Texas Tech and TCU it seemed as though the offenses would explode in the 3rd Q. That did not happen.
TCU got the ball and converted a fake punt before stalling and punting for real. Not to be outdone Texas Tech would punt it right back...
The 1st Q was all TCU. The horned frog defense forced 2 turnovers, a fumble and an interception both by Patrick Mahomes.
TCU also had a 7 minute, 17 play 99 yard drive that culminated in the first points of the game. A rushing touchdown by Derrick Green that made the game 7-0...
