Race for the cure

The Susan G. Komen Lubbock Race for the Cure is set for Saturday, October 6th at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

The 2016 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Lubbock, Texas brought out a huge crowd eager to run, jog and walk to help raise money in the fight against breast cancer.

Saturday, Oct. 3 was a great day for Race for the Cure that saw thousands come out and support the fight against breast cancer.

The 2015 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at the Lubbock Civic Center Saturday, October 3, turned the area into a sea of pink.

During the 2014 Race for the Cure in Lubbock, the Susan G. Komen Foundation honored those women who continue to fight against breast cancer with a pink balloon release ceremony.

Thousands gathered outside the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center early Saturday morning to do their part to help the Susan G. Komen foundation fight breast cancer.
