9/11

In Lower Manhattan, near the spot where the Twin Towers once stood, the reading of the names of those who died on September 11, 2001, began early Thursday morning.

8:25 a.m. - Odessa, Texas - 13 years ago It was a rare occasion that my husband woke up early to take our son to pre-school instead of me having to do it, but on this day he did and I was the one that got to sleep in. I was grateful for this opportunity as I had worked late the night before doing an event for the radio station I was employed with.

We remember 9/11 on it's 11th Anniversary and look at a story that reminds us of the sacrifice so many beared that fateful September day.

I can't believe it's been 10 years since 9/11. It's hard to believe we're still seeing new video of the 9/11 attacks ten years later, but NASA just released video of the smoking twin towers taken by astronaut Frank Culbertson who was orbiting in the International Space Station at the time...
