SWAT Standoff at City Bank 82nd & Quaker

A standoff at a South Lubbock bank is currently going on.

The standoff right now involves a large amount of Lubbock Police and Department of Public Safety Officers at the City Bank at 82nd Street and Quaker Avenue, just across the street from the KFYO Studios.
According to KFYO.com:

All hostages have been evacuated from the building, and Lubbock Police have a negotiator in contact with the person inside the bank. All media and onlookers have been removed from the parking lot at Kingsgate South, on the southeast corner of the intersection.

Motorists are urged to avoid the intersection of 82nd Street and Quaker Avenue, as police have it blocked off.
