The great Willie Nelson is to be honored in Austin, TX on April 20th by the erection of a larger than life-size statue. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at 4:20pm. Coincedence? I think not...

This isn't the first time that the artist has visited for a ceremony, concert, or other function. Willie visits quite often for many different occasions. In fact, there's even a boulavard named after him as well as a "Willie Corner" in the local steakhouse.  The scupltor, Clete Shields, created the monumental, bronze statue that stands just at 8 feet tall. And no, it is not coincidence that the ceremony is taking place in Austin on April 20th at 4:20pm. It's all part of the "Ode to Willie".
