There's a Something Different Grill set to open at 50th and Quaker! The restaurant has positive reviews at their other locations including Levelland, so it's exciting to have one opening here in the heart of Lubbock.

Serving up lunch and dinner at the Lubbock location, Something Different Grill's menu will boast some really well-dressed potatoes, including their Chicken Fried Steak Spud, the BBQ Spud, and their most famous potato creation, the Jacked Up Spud, which is loaded with "a mountain of Monterey Jack Cheese, Grilled Chicken, Green Chile and Butter." Or you can shift gears for the Asian flavor of a Teriyaki bowl with beef, chicken or shrimp. Plus, they have a sizable salad offering, with wraps, sandwiches and great starters.

We aren't sure exactly when exactly Something Different Grill, located at 4317 50th St., will open, but we'll be watching for it to open its doors. For now, you can check out their menu online and like them on Facebook for updates.

Have you eaten at on of the other Something Different Grill locations in Levelland, Clovis or Portales? Let us know!

An earlier version of the story said that this Something Different Grill would serve breakfast. Unfortunately, that won't be the case. We regret the error.
