The Roosevelt ISD Education Foundation, a foundation created by Lubbock County school district parents, awarded 25 $1,000 scholarships to graduating Roosevelt High School seniors Thursday morning (May 16th).

Additional funds raised beyond student scholarships will be used to facilitate student achievement and skill development, recognize and encourage staff excellence and expand community involvement from individuals, business and civic organizations.

The Roosevelt ISD Education Foundation is a charitable organization under the Internal Revenue Service section 501 (c)(3), and contributions to the organization are tax-deductible.
