Alice Walton Named the Richest Person in Texas

Forbes recently released its findings of the richest people in the country by state. In Texas, there is an almost 100 percent chance you've given our richest resident some of your hard-earned money.

Alice Walton of Ft. Worth tops the list of richest Texans.

Not a politician, rancher or oil tycoon, Alice and her family made their millions (BILLIONS!) by selling everyday items to everyday people like you and me. Alice, as you may or may not know, is the daughter of Sam Walton of the Walmart empire. She's just one of many Waltons who claimed their respective states' top spots.
