Paranormal Cirque, a traveling circus, has announced their return to Lubbock for a new 2021 show.

I should clarify that it's a people-performer only circus, as I find the ones with animals stinky and depressing. This troupe is neither stinky nor depressing. In fact, they are really fun and quite honestly amazing.

Paranormal Cirque will have several dates between March 11 and March 21st in the Hub City. Shows will have capacity limits and social distancing to accommodate COVID-19 safety precautions. Their signature tent will be erected in the South Plains Mall parking lot for the following showtimes:

· March 11-Thursday: 7:30 pm
· March 12-Friday: 7:30 pm
· March 13-Saturday: 6:30 pm & 9:30 pm
· March 14-Sunday: 5:30 pm & 8:30 pm
March 15-Monday: 7:30 pm
· March 17-Wednesday: 7:30 pm
· March 18-Thursday: 7:30 pm
· March 19-Friday: 7:30 pm
· March 20-Saturday: 6:30 pm & 9:30 pm
· March 21-Sunday: 5:30 pm & 8:30 pm

I was unable to attend the first Paranormal Cirque that came into Lubbock. However, I've seen this troupe of performers in a different show. They were absolutely incredible. You can expect to see incredibly talented acrobats, contortionists, magicians, dancers and more from around the world. I found their performance to be unique, fresh and downright exciting. I imagine the "Paranormal" aspect adds some mysterious and spooky fun to their performances:

Do you love thrill, wicked, sexy, or even dangerous things? Be ready to escape to a new world! Paranormal Cirque will take you through a unique world of combined theatre, circus, and cabaret presented by Cirque Italia.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 941-704-8572 or by heading to their website. Tickets start as low as $10 for youths (age 13 through 17) and $15 for adults. Children under 13 will not be admitted to the show, presumably because of its more cabaret nature.
