One Arrested and One At Large After Police Chase in Lubbock

In the afternoon hours of Friday, November 6th, a traffic stop prompted a chase in North Lubbock.
KAMC News reports that the Texas Department of Public Safety attempted to make a traffic stop near 1st Street and Akron Avenue at around 2:45 p.m. The vehicle refused to stop and a chase followed. It's currently unknown what the cause of the traffic stop was.
2 suspects were in the car and stopped at the Amigos on North University Avenue. They both then proceeded to flee on foot.
One of the suspects was apprehended, but the other managed to escape. The identities of both suspects has yet to be released.
As of 3:30 p.m. Friday, the second suspect still remained at large.
