Marc Anthony Bursts Out in Tears While Performing in Concert on His Birthday

Singer Marc Anthony turned 43 on Friday, and after taking the stage for a concert at Miami’s American Airlines Arena that night, he got quite a gift when the thousands of fans in attendance sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to him.

Anthony, who in recent months has seen his marriage to diva Jennifer Lopez fall apart, reacted emotionally, dropping to his knees in tears and thanking the crowd for “all your love and support, especially this year; it means a lot to me.”

Marc enjoyed a midnight party after the concert with about 150 friends at Club 50 inside the Miami Viceroy Hotel. When he blew out the candles on his cake, he said he “already had his wish,” and later told his guests, “I feel like I am home. Thanks for showing up. It’s mind-boggling.”
