When it's hot outside, there's nothing like a good refreshing drink to cool you down.

We have some sad news for the lovers of Pearl Tea: they've just announced they'll be closing very soon.

If you've never been to their location, now's the time. They have so many great options of drinks no matter if you're craving tea, boba, smoothies or coffee. You can even grab some food while you are there because they have pastries, salads, bagels and more.

They're currently located at 2605 Boston Ave. in Lubbock, Texas, but will be closing for good on June 24th, 2022.

We do have a little bit of good news, too. After Pearl Tea closes, you can still enjoy the same great drinks because they're bringing them all over to West Straws. That means their butterfly lavender lemonade, lavender camomile milk tea and most of their other popular drinks will live on.

West Straw's Boba Tea is located off of 19th Street and are currently adding all the delicious drinks from Pearl Tea to compliment their own offerings. The 19th Street location will begin carrying espresso drinks and also add more outlets soon to make it more of a possible study place for college students.

The shop is owned by Nathan and Tessa Spencer, who met in Lubbock almost 15 years ago. They just recently purchased West Straws from a couple and they're glad to keep the recipes and drinks going with no change.

West Straws Boba Tea is located at 3709 19th Street in Lubbock, Texas and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. You can find out more about them on their official website.
