Lubbock Ranks 99th On 2020’s List of Stressed Cities in America
On Monday, July 13th, the personal-financial website, WalletHub, published a list of 2020's Most & Least Stressed Cities in America.
The list of 182 cities, including Lubbock, is determined by considering things such as "how vulnerable the state is to COVID-19 to average weekly work hours to divorce and suicide rates" according to WalletHub.
Lubbock is ranked 99th most stressed city - 83rd least stressed - out of 182 cities compared.
The most stressed city in America according to WalletHub is Cleveland, OH followed by Detroit, MI and Birmingham, AL. The 2020 list shows Lincoln, NE, Boise, ID and Sioux Falls, SD as America's top three least stressed cities, respectively.
WalletHub compared cities in the U.S. including the 150 most populated and at least two of the most populated cities in each state. Some of the variables considered in comparing cities for this analysis include the average weekly work hours and job security.
