Lubbock Fire Rescue Responds to Two Separate Fires Just Minutes Apart

Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to two separate fires that occurred minutes apart Thursday morning.

KAMC News reports that the first fire was at the Sam Remy Apartments in the 3000 block of South Loop 289. Video from the KAMC tower cam at 7403 South University indicated the Sam Remy fire was limited to either one apartment on one specific section of a building.

The second fire, occurring at around noon, was at the Fort Jackson Mobile Home Park at 116th Street and University Avenue. The same tower cam showed a mobile home to be fully engulfed in flames at Fort Jackson.

There have been no reports of injuries in either fire.
