Lubbock-Cooper West Elementary Under Brief Campus Lockdown

Lubbock-Cooper ISD Police enforced a campus lockdown at West Elementary after personnel were made aware of a potential situation involving the safety of an individual off-campus.

The lockdown was initiated about 30 minutes after student dismissal on Monday, December 9th just to be cautious, and was lifted within 10 minutes.

No threats were made toward West Elementary or and student or staff member on campus.
