With their kicking woes continuing to be a problem, the Dallas Cowboys have decided to make a move in their kicking game.

On Monday, the Cowboys announced that they have cut kicker Brett Maher and have signed Kai Forbath.

Maher was 20 for 30 on field goals this season after going 1 of 2 Thursday. The 10 misses are more than any other NFL kicker has had in a season the past four years.

Kai Forbath finds himself on his second team in just as many weeks, as he was signed by the New England Patriots for just one game following Nick Folk's emergency appendectomy.

In his eight-year career, Forbath is 121 for 141 (85.8 %) on his field-goal attempts. He's hit 93.5% of his extra points. In one game this year, Forbath is 1-1 in field-goal attempts and 1-2 in extra point attempts.
