Kelsee Pitman’s New Favorite Hangout Is Velvet Taco’s Party on the Patio

Last month I mentioned how I couldn't wait for Velvet Taco's weekly Party on the Patio. Well, I'm happy to say it's finally here.

This colorful spot in Lubbock was already killing it with great food and drinks and an awesome patio, but it just got a whole lot better.

I can't wait to stop by Velvet Taco this month to sit outside and try out their tasty Happy Hour deals at Party on the Patio, which goes down every Thursday from 4 p.m. to midnight all summer long. This awesome event includes specials, giveaways and live music. These deals make Thursdays just as great as Fridays.

For drink options, you can cool off with a Miller Lite Draft for $3 or a Kick Ass Margarita on the rocks or frozen for $5. If you want some food deals they have you covered as well, with $4 fan-favorite tacos or Chips & Queso. Their fan-favorite tacos include Spicy Tikka Chicken, Beer Battered Cauliflower, Mexi-Cali Shrimp, Korean Fried Rice and Grilled Steak.

Velvet Taco will definitely be a great spot for my friends and I to hang this summer because there's nothing like being able to get great deals on food and drinks. If you stop by this month, I definitely recommend their fan-favorite Spicy Tikka Chicken deal. Not only does it taste great, but it pairs perfectly with a margarita.

You can only enjoy these great deals for dine-in, but once you see their awesome restaurant and patio that's all you'll ever want to do. I love their patio because even though it's covered you can still enjoy being outside. The music I heard at their big kickoff event was amazing and definitely set a laid-back mood.
