Kanye West to Debut Women’s Clothing Line During NY Fashion Week?

It’s no secret that Kanye West has serious fashion cred.

Now, word on the street is West is planning to show his collection of womenswear during New York Fashion Week in September.

The rapper is a self-proclaimed fashion afficionado who is as much a fixture during Fashion Week in London, Milan, New York and Paris as the models. He even collaborated with Louis Vuitton on a successful line of high-end sneakers.

A couple of years ago, there was that rumor about him interning at The Gap. Then, there was that other rumor about him pursuing a masters degree in fashion at the Central Saint Martins College in London.

We’ll see if this particular rumor turns out to be true, but if fashion blogs are right, West has put together an impressive team of stylists and designers to make sure his line is a huge success.
