Lubbock’s Mugshot Monday: 51 Arrested the Third Week of August
It's the season of change and for many there are some that are seeing a change in their freedom as they are currently behind bars in the Lubbock County Detention Center. For those that were too busy moving into their dorms, apartments, or holding cell then here are some things you might have missed.
Schools! Out! Forever! Not Really
School is back in session at one Lubbock college while another goes back this week but I had to share a few words of wisdom with the freshmen. Obviously, I felt some kind of nostalgia going back to my stomping grounds and remembered all the fun I had while there but for some of the newer students might be wondering what to do when not studying. Well there is actually a lot to do in Lubbock you just have to look for it, or sometimes let it find you. Or you could just go out to eat and try some of the local food but make sure to ask for certain things a bit more burned/charred at your next meal, they might just taste better.
I Do
While it's back to school time it's also still wedding season and that means there will be tons of events for brides to attend. These events are just limited to getting the dress but there will be lots of opportunities for them to book the caterers, the wedding coordinators, and the DJ. There are actually some questions that you should ask everyone, in particular a DJ, so that you get the most bang for your buck. While you ask questions about music it's also nice to probably look at what drinks will be served at the wedding. One Lubbock business is doing just that as they handle the drinks and still fit in your wedding day in just one small convenient portable caravan.
And Now, Mugshots
These 51 mugshots are of individuals arrested and booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center during the week of August 14 - August 20, 2023. The individuals charged should be presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. All arrestees featured below are those charged with a felony offense.
