LOOK: Apocalyptic Images From The Texas Panhandle Wildfires
As wildfires continue in the Texas Panhandle, pictures and videos from Tuesday showed just how bad these wildfires were. The worst, and largest is the massive Smokehouse Creek Fire which has burned over 500,000 acres and as of this publishing time is 0% contained.
These fires began Monday and really spread on Tuesday as winds and dry conditions along with low humidity created the perfect conditions for fire weather. At one point the Smokehouse Creek Fire was burning at a rate of 150 football fields each minute. That is crazy to think about.
